All of our clothing, pyjamas and accessories are locally made in Quebec, Canada under ethical and humane working conditions. We make a point of visiting every Canadian manufacturer and workshop we work with to ensure a safe and fair work environment.
Gaia & Dubos works exclusively with eco-friendly fabrics such as certified organic cotton, wool and certified ethical and organic silk, as well as natural linen. We repurpose our larger fabric scraps to create accessories, while smaller scraps are donated to local textile artisans.

Yes! No greenwashing here. Our founder has always been deeply committed to protecting the environment and human rights. At Gaia & Dubos, transparency is one of our core values.
Our founder and designer holds a master’s degree in sustainable fashion and is the author of the book For a Sustainable Wardrobe, published by Éditions La Presse and sold in thousands of copies across Quebec.
She brings the knowledge and expertise needed to create genuinely eco-friendly clothing and accessories — all entirely made in Canada under ethical working conditions.
As you might expect, producing locally in Canada costs about 10 times more than outsourcing to developing countries. It’s a tough choice — but it’s one we make wholeheartedly, in line with our values.

We work exclusively with sustainable fibres such as certified organic cotton, certified ethical and organic silk and wool, and natural linen.
Our collections also occasionally feature other eco-responsible fabrics like materials made from recycled plastic bottles, hemp, and lyocell or TENCEL™ — a fabric made from wood pulp sourced from renewable forests.
Free shipping and 60-day free returns
We offer free shipping within Canada on orders of $200 or more.
For orders under $200 or shipped outside of Canada, shipping fees will be calculated at checkout based on the volume and weight of your order, as well as your location.
A typical shipment within Canada costs between $10 and $18, depending on the region.
Returns and exchanges within 60 days are completely free and ridiculously easy!
All of our clothing, pyjamas, and accessories can be returned for a refund or exchange — even on-sale items!
A free return label is included with every order shipped within Canada. You can download it here.
Don’t have a printer? Just bring your parcel to any Canada Post office and mention merchant return #PR278326. They’ll print the return label for you, free of charge.
All orders shipped outside of Canada are final sale.
