We make a point of visiting every Canadian manufacturer and workshop we work with to ensure a safe and fair work environment.
Gaia & Dubos works exclusively with eco-friendly fabrics such as certified organic cotton, wool and certified ethical and organic silk, as well as natural linen. We repurpose our larger fabric scraps to create accessories, while smaller scraps are donated to local textile artisans.
Your order will be carefully shipped in minimal packaging that is recycled, recyclable or compostable. đ

Our founder and designer holds a masterâs degree in sustainable fashion and is the author of the book "For a sustainable wardrobe", published by Ăditions La Presse and sold in thousands of copies across Quebec.
She brings the knowledge and expertise needed to create genuinely eco-friendly clothing and accessories â all entirely made in Canada under ethical working conditions.
We work exclusively with sustainable fibres such as certified organic cotton, certified ethical and organic silk and wool, and natural linen.
Our collections also occasionally feature other eco-responsible fabrics like materials made from recycled plastic bottles, hemp, and lyocell or TENCELâą â a fabric made from wood pulp sourced from renewable forests.
Yes. All of our clothing and accessories are made right here in Quebec, Canada under ethical working conditions. Our founder and designer personally visits each of the manufacturers and workshops we work with to ensure a safe, fair, and humane work environment.
As you might expect, producing locally in Canada costs about 10 times more than outsourcing to developing countries. Itâs a tough choice â but itâs one we make wholeheartedly, in line with our values.
