My name is Léonie, and I’m the founder and designer behind the Canadian sustainable fashion brand Gaia & Dubos. 🤗
(Pstt! We actually pronounce the “s” in “Dubosssss”!)
I’m a mom of three young kids, and an entrepreneur at heart.
Ever since I was a kid, I knew I was going to start my own clothing brand.
I founded Gaia & Dubos in 2015, when I was finishing my masters in sustainable fashion and pregnant with my first child.
My hard work and mission to transform the fashion industry have earned me a spot on the TV show Dans l'œil du dragon and features in major media outlets such as RDI Matin, La Facture, CTV News, La Presse, CBC Radio-One, Châtelaine, ELLE Canada, Protégez-vous, Téléjournal Radio-Canada Québec, the podcast 3.7 Planètes by François Bellefeuille, Clin d’œil, and many more.My commitment to doing things better also allowed me to write the book “For a Sustainable Wardrobe” (in French only for now), published by Éditions La Presse and sold in thousands of copies since its release in 2019.
